Simply Hammocks in the news...
You can’t half tell we are in the middle of summer, Hammocks have never been so popular! We have had an exceptionally busy few months, and as a result, you will see us popping up all over the place! We have been on TV (lots!) and even been to music festivals! Check out where you might have seen us below;
We braved the rain and mud at Donnington park in June at Download festival. Famous for its heavy rockers, we were asked to bring some tranquility and offer a place to rest in the woods. We obviously obliged, and came up with the idea of 20 hammocks, black of course, all suspended in woodland, in front of a big movie screen. What do you think of when you think of going on holiday? We all think of lounging around in the sunshine, swaying in a hammock, potentially sipping on a cocktail! Richard Branson advocates this on Necker Island, so why wouldn’t Thomas Cook want to put our Brasil Gigante Café Hammock Chair on their new advert for 2019! Blissful! Pina coladas all round!
We partnered with Timotay landscapes to be part of their award winning show garden at this year’s Gardeners’ World Live. They wanted to create a garden reminiscent of their travels in South East Asia, and were inspired enough to include our Tobago Natura hammock as the perfect chill-out. See the images below, its amazing what you can do with a small space!
We were recently featured on channel 5’s The gadget show with our Amazonas Beach hammock set. Granted, they took it to a beach in Scotland, and the weather was less than perfect… but still! See more details here on our blog.
With the second half of the year ahead of us, we are by no means finished yet! We in fact are about to head into a meeting with the marketing team to decide what we can do with the rest of the year!
